This school year marks my 20th year in education. For 13 of those years, I was in the classroom as a 5th, 4th, 3rd, and 2nd grade teacher. I attend Southwest Texas University, (present day Texas State University...but always SWTSU for me.) My first five years of teaching was in Bastrop ISD. I met my husband who is a native Round Rock resident. I moved to Round Rock ISD and became a teacher at Berkman Elementary. I taught there until I decided to stay home for three years when I had my daughter. I came back to teaching at Berkman for one year, then moved over to Cactus Ranch Elementary.
At that time I decided to pursue my Master's in Educational Administration and was accepted into the University of Texas (Go Longhorns!!)
